Homestead - a word for a house with a plot of land around it - is the title of a composition of coloured sweaters placed on the ground in a harmonious synthesis. For ten years now, the artist has been collecting pullovers of people she has known throughout her life and which, for this work, she has stitched together. Every single piece represents a piece of life, a significant relationship, and the artist, just like a painter would, places them on the ground.

Exposed to the elements, within a few months they will fade and we will move from an initial state of chromatic contrast to the establishment of a symbiosis with the surrounding meadow. This carpet invites you to realise the plurality of facets that contribute to the construction and definition of Heimat which can materialise in one place, but it is above all an emotion that is established in sharing, in the common experience interwoven between different lives and cultures; it is a feeling that creates a sense of belonging.

Homestead – parola che indica la casa con appezzamento di terreno circostante - è il titolo di una composizione di maglioni colorati posti a terra in una sintesi armoniosa. Da ben dieci anni l'artista colleziona pullover di persone che ha conosciuto nel corso della sua vita e che, per quest'opera, ha ricucito tra di loro. Ogni singolo pezzo rappresenta un tassello di vita, una relazione significativa, e l'artista, come una pittrice, li dispone per terra.

Esposti alle intemperie, nel giro di pochi mesi sbiadiranno e si passerà da uno stato iniziale di contrasto cromatico all'instaurazione di una simbiosi con il prato circostante. Questo tappeto invita a rendersi conto della pluralità di sfaccettature che concorrono alla costruzione e definizione di Heimat, la quale può concretizzarsi in un posto, ma è soprattutto un’emozione che si instaura nella condivisione, nel vissuto comune intrecciato fra vite e culture diverse; è una sensazione che crea senso di appartenenza.

Homestead - ein Wort für ein Haus mit Land drum herum - ist der Titel einer Komposition aus farbigen Pullovern, die in einer harmonischen Synthese auf den Boden platziert werden. Seit zehn Jahren sammelt die Künstlerin Pullover von Menschen, denen sie im Laufe ihres Lebens begegnet. Diese Pullover hat sie für das vorliegende Werk zusammengenäht. Jedes einzelne Stück repräsentiert ein Stück Leben, eine wichtige Beziehung, und die Künstlerin ordnet sie wie eine Malerin auf dem Boden an.

Der Witterung ausgesetzt, werden sie innerhalb weniger Monate verblassen, und der anfängliche Zustand des chromatischen Kontrasts wird in eine Symbiose mit der umgebenden Wiese übergehen. Dieser Flickenteppich lädt ein, die Vielfalt der Facetten zu erkennen, die zur Konstruktion und Definition von Heimat beitragen, die sich an einem Ort konkretisieren kann. Vor allem jedoch ist Heimat eine Emotion, die sich beim Teilen, beim gemeinsamen Erlebnis, das mit verschiedenen Leben und Kulturen verwoben ist, einstellt; ein Gefühl, das einen Sinn der Zugehörigkeit schafft.

A volte sono proprio i posti meno conosciuti ad offrire un panorama vasto e avvincente. Qui troviamo il confine tra i comuni di Luson, San Martino e Marebbe.

Maurerberg, Untermoj - Am höchsten Punkt des Maurerberges auf 2.332 Metern begegnen sich Wanderer von Untermoj, Rina und Lüsen um die wunderbare Aussicht zu genießen. Ebenso ist dies der Grenzgang der Gemeinden Lüsen, St Martin und Enneberg.
